Loyalty and collector schemes enable a brand to engage with their customer in a way that creates loyalty and secures repeat purchases.

Whilst a loyalty scheme tends to be long-running and work on an ‘earn and collect’ tokens or points system, collector schemes encourage customers to make repeat purchases within a shorter promotional period in exchange for a reward. For example, a brand running a promotion that requires a customer to collect codes from 3 promotional packs to claim a free gift.

Points and offers will drive consumers back to buy again, attracted by the prospect of getting something for nothing thanks to a previous purchase.
